saying that he screwed up by not using his bench in that bottom of the ninth inning

with Escarra at the plate and Ahmed Rosario and Ryan McMahon.

Do you agree with your old mate Tommy Lugarer that Aaron Boone done bleeped it up last night? I don't think he bleeped it up, but it's getting harder to stomach Ryan McMahon being like the last out of a game. So I think he should have been pitched hit for, but I don't think that's the reason they lost. I already got no fight with Tommy about this last night because he was texting.

His whole point, he was trying to hammer home his scara, full disclosure.

likely a guy like Paul Goldschmidt, even Randall Gritchick, even if the matchup is an ideal because it's a right-hand hitter, at some point, and maybe it's not on April 8th, you just want to use the better hitters. You just want to give yourself that shot. So I don't think it was egregious. I don't think this was the horribleness of Aaron Boone. I just think right now you've got a part of the Yankee batting order that's just not doing anything. And Ryan McMahon has become the face of it. He heard booze last night. advice, not that he wants to hear it from me, it's cut out the over-the-top defense. Like if someone asks you, hey, what's up with Ryan McMahon?
