Welcome to the Bronx Pinstrype show.

Today, we are reacting to the Boone, Cashman, end-of-season press conference.

We got it.

We didn't get it the last two years.

I guess after they missed the playoffs, they didn't feel like they owed talking to the fans.

And after they lost the World Series, they didn't owe talking to the fans. But getting bounced in the division series, I guess warranted a press conference. And we got it. Did it make you feel better? No, it didn't make me feel better. There was, again, these press conferences, like we get mad if we don't get them. But at the same time, it's, uh, they, they don't say anything.

They don't say anything.

You, you said before we started going here that, that, that Boone said a little bit more.

And maybe he did, but, um, Cashman definitely didn't say shit.

Oh, my God.

I've never heard someone say so many words with actually saying nothing.

Like every answer, he just says all the words you could possibly imagine and no meaning.

It's just talking in circles, corporate jargon buzzwords, and it's in the most condescending

tone you can possibly imagine.

Every single question that is asked of Brian Cashman, he talks down to the reporter

as if they are a peasant who just asked him a question. It is really infuriating how arrogant

he has become. For what? For what? You have one shit in 15 years, dude. It's a defensive. It's a

defensive arrogance. That's what it is. Maybe. But like, you have no reason to be arrogant.
