So I did go back to, I'll give you guys some props.

I went back to July 3rd when it was official that the Knicks hired Mike Brown to get your guys take on this.

Not bad.

Actually, pretty good.

First, this was Geo's take.

The things that I really love about it is the experience.

I mean, and we're talking top-level NBA pressure experience that he has.

So when we ask for that in a situation like this, we don't want a first-time head coach.

When we ask for that for the Jets and we didn't want a first-time head coach, this is the type of guy that you want.

And then you compared him to Joe Torrey taking over for Buck Showalter. No, I didn't. Yes, you did. Then? Yeah, you said this could be like Joe Torrey. Because both of yous were very confused, not confused, but you didn't think Thibito should have been fired. Yeah. You kind of understood going in a different direction, but didn't understand why they fired him and then you said

i didn't think back then i had that yeah this was the day after and then boomer you i thought

your take was pretty good too am i overly elated about this like i was about mike sullivan coming to

the rangers no i'm not i mean i'm

just what i am is like let's see what he can do i'm i'm not against it and it's worked out very well

i think a lot of people felt that way like okay mike brown all right let's give me a chance i remember

what's the caller that was calling in that wanted to get rid of tips i forget his name that guy was

all over it and for different reasons and maybe know, now those reasons have manifested themselves.

And we've watched this team grow into the team that has become both offensively and defensively.

And there's only one different voice in that room. And that is the head coach. And you got to give the head coach credit where credit is due.

And then he certainly deserves to take a bow, especially if they can win. Because he's gotten them farther than they went last year. Yeah, which was his goal. And now the goal has been reorganized. It seems like they're a freight train right now. I go back to, I told Geo this, you know, a couple months ago, went out to dinner with Danny Ferry, who's a part of the Spurs system still.
