Good Wednesday morning, 4th of July week.

A lot of offseason stuff going on with both the Knicks and the Rangers.

The Yankees lose again.

And this was a George Springer RBI fest as things obviously not going well for both the Yankees and the Mets heading into this July 4th subway series. The Mets do get rained out, so we'll see how they handle the double header today. But man, I tell you, I went to golf course yesterday. I saw a guy pull up in the car. He sat in his car for a while. And I said, what are you doing sitting in your car? He goes, I was listening to Ian Begley on with BT. I want to see what the Knicks are doing. So I started talking Knicks with him in the parking lot. And then some other guy goes, hey, you're talking about the Knicks? I said, yeah, did they do anything today? And I said, are you familiar with Gershon Yabaseli? because this guy you're going to love. Good morning, Boomer. How are you? I'm doing good, gee. Good morning. And I agree. I mean, I think the Knicks did a good job yesterday, even though they don't have a coach. And even though it tells me, and once again, it tells me that their team is set. And maybe they had a point guard or two.

Who knows?

They still have one roster spot left.

But for the most part, getting Yabaseli and also Clarkson are exactly what the next needed.

They just needed quality guys coming off the bench that can hold a lead, that can take a

lead, that can play NBA basketball, and the coach will trust them. You know, it is, I was reading one of the articles today written by one of the guys that covered the team for which one it was, but maybe it was Vicaro, somebody I'm sure. But, you know, he's talking about how it's really, it's irony that, you know, one of the reasons why Tom Thibito would play only as many players as he did was because he had too many young players and didn't trust some of the other older players to play significant minutes because he was afraid of losing a lead.

Yeah.

And wanted to be able to still control the game, especially, you know, in the third and fourth quarter.

So now all of a sudden you bring in two major reinforcements

that should slot in fine and it tells me that Leon Rose and worldwide West and everybody

over there running the Knicks is just now looking for the right coach to fit this team and

to fit these personalities and hopefully have a legitimate system where

they're going to play at least nine guys. Now, I've got to believe that the three younger

players that are on the roster that were here last year as rookies are also going to get
