Summary

He believes the Mets will eventually have to move on from one of the young infielders. Is Steven Kwan a better target? Gio wonders why Rob Manfred was in the Phillies clubhouse. Jerry provides an update, but first, Boomer asks which Mets third baseman would be easiest to trade: Ronny Mauricio, Brett Baty, or Mark Vientos? Gio says Baty, Jerry says Vientos. Gio will not be happy if the Mets trade Mauricio or Vientos. The Mets lost their final late-night game. Juan Soto's foot X-rays were negative. Gio observed something new about Dave Sims. Anthony Volpe's bat contributed to a win, but his glove did not. Getting traded must be difficult. Boomer thinks the NBA could expand into Europe. In the final segment, Gio shares an update on trying to go to Streamsong the weekend of NFL Week 1. They could do the show from the resort on Monday, but not Tuesday. The alternate who would go if Boomer and Gio can't calls in, encouraging them to make the trip. Hour 4 Boomer and Gio discuss Giants and Jets camp, with the show at Giants camp tomorrow. They also cover NFL expectations, Aaron Glenn, and a Streamsong trip. Jerry provides an update, and Boomer sets Mets and Yankees trade deadline over/unders. Upcoming interviews include Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, Brian Daboll, Dexter Lawrence, and Jevon Holland. The Yankees beat the Rays, and Pete Alonso's reaction might have led to Huascar Brazoban's demotion. Luis Gil returns Sunday. The Mets lost badly. Justin Fields is back at Jets practice. 0:23.8	Boomer says it's just one of many. We move on, go be four and two and win today, and all will be right. And I don't necessarily disagree with him, but still a gross loss. Good morning, Boomer. How are you? I'm doing great, Jerry. Good to talk to you since five minutes ago. Yeah. And by the way, we are not on the CBS Sports Network this morning until 830. Did not know that. I do think that they have a live soccer game, I believe. Is that right, the Fleeks? Yeah, Stephen Wold just said, I think... Either way. No CBS Sports Network till 8 o'clock. Until 8.30. 8.30.
1:11.0	That's right. So it's just us on the radio and Gio.
1:13.3	We were talking about in the warm-up show.
1:16.7	Had a little car trouble. I think he's a little traffic.
1:19.6	And we hope that he arrives soon and shortly and he arrives alive.
1:24.3	And because anybody who's ever been late to work, especially for a job like this where you have to be on the air and thousands, if not millions of listeners are listening to you and they want your take on things and you're not here, you get a little bit nervous and you end up doing something stupid.
1:40.3	So hopefully that's not the case for Gio is.
1:42.9	I want him to just take his time, get in here, nice and easy.
1:45.5	And arrive alive.
1:46.5	Get it, get his makeup.
1:48.0	And, you know, we do have a couple of issues that we have to get to, Jerry.
1:51.8	Number one is this whole golf thing with stream song and golf digest.
1:57.2	I'm not sure if Gio and I are going to go.
2:00.3	We're not sure yet. I haven't really battened down the hatches, if you will, as to whether or not we're going to be able to pull this off and then be able to cover the first week of the NFL season, which is Uber important for this radio station and us in particular.
