It is books and bars and it's where I break down excerpts from my favorite books.

I love to read and I feel like one of the best ways, or I should take that back.

I love to acquire new knowledge that allows me to more aggressively move towards my goals,

a.k.a. the things that I want. You, like me, we have things that we want. I view knowledge

as a tool, as a necessary tool in order to gain what you want. And I happen to believe that one of the easiest, most cost-effective ways to accumulate knowledge

to use, to accomplish what it is that you want is through books.

So I like to break it down through books.

Now, I also love hip-hop.

And what hip- hop has served for me

is, number one, another source for knowledge. Number two, a source of motivation and

inspiration. So there are times that I know you get down like I do, where you feel like things

might not happen, you feel frustrated, overwhelmed, etc.

And for me, hip hop has been something that I could rely on that is giving me motivation,

inspiration, et cetera. And of course, entertainment to a certain degree.

But honestly, I'll put the entertainment part a lot further down on the list.

I listen to hip hop the same way that I read books and I'm

addicted to both vices, but I feel like they're powerful. All right. So today is a clip or an excerpt from a

song. This is a bar. All right. And so I'm a big Jay-Z fan as I'm sure a lot of you are.

If you don't like Jay-Z, I'm not going to say something's wrong with you because I don't

feel like you have to like anyone.
