This is your host, Nees Shobo.

0:04.6

This is books and bars.

0:06.3

This is where I break down excerpts from my favorite books,

0:09.6

and I give you my interpretation on them so as to help you internalize it

0:14.3

to basically make practical change in your life in some small way.

0:19.4

Many times, I think we get this from school. We get this

0:23.5

idea that we should take a book and we should read the whole thing and we should retain all of the

1:23.1

jewel that I took from a book that I was reading or of course from a song that I listened to as well

1:28.9

from the bar standpoint. But today is all about a book and this book is called mastery by Robert

1:35.3

Green. And it's funny because right before I decided to read this particular excerpt, this actually

1:42.5

happens a ton. I should tell you. And I don't know if this is good or bad

1:47.5

that I'm telling me this, but there are sometimes I actually legitimately forget or I don't remember
