and this is a very special edition because this is a book written by man who has changed my life.

And here in my home, we call him Uncle Morty. And first of all, I want to say RIP to Uncle Morty. He died a few years ago

from cancer, a battle with cancer, but his work is super, super powerful. I'm talking about Morty

Lefco. All right. Now, Morty Lefcoe is an author. He's a teacher. He's someone who has taught me how to change my beliefs. And you guys know

the importance of beliefs and your mindset and how you think and how that leads to how you feel

and ultimately how that leads to what you do and what you get. And so, Morty Lefko, there's a course

that I took from him called Natural Confidence.

And in it, he breaks down a lot of the beliefs that are at the root of most of our pain.

And he takes you through this very, very practical process designed to help you rewire your beliefs.

And I had a lot of breakthroughs as a result of going through that course.

And since then, I've had all my kids go through it.

It was a daily staple in our homeschool curriculum in the Fearless Academy and continues

to be, as well as his parenting courses that he and his wife, Shelley Lefco, now do that

have helped me transform myself as a parent and continue to grow and evolve and really

help shape my philosophy as a parent. So these Shelley and Morty Lefko are literally people that I am

very, very grateful for. And I'm excited to break down an excerpt from Morty's book called Recreate Your

Life. All right. Now, I want to read this part, and I'm

explaining why it's so important. He says this, we create our lives based on models, such as

our parents, but those models have no inherent power to cause us to believe anything. Let's talk about

this really quick. You ever heard someone say, I believe that because my mom taught me that.

Or I am this way because of my environment.
