You're listening to Podcasting Made Simple.

0:26.1

A few years ago, I made a huge mistake.

0:30.0

I invited a guest onto my podcast because they had a massive following.

0:34.2

I thought if I just get them on my show, their audience will come running to listen.

0:38.9

But halfway through the interview, I had that sinking realization when your God tells you

0:44.5

this isn't working. You're already too deep to even back out. They weren't adding value.

0:50.6

1:37.5

1:46.3

And I saw the proof even in my numbers, low engagements, minimal feedback, zero excitements.

1:54.1

And you know what, that was a moment of truth for me.

1:57.3

That was when it hits me that your guest is a reflection of your podcast.

2:02.7

If they don't align with your message or bring real value, it's your credibility that takes the hit.

2:11.0

My name is Olajj Mo Kef Fatuki, and today I'm speaking on the topic how to choose the right guest for your podcast.

2:19.4

You see, I'll be very honest.
