60s or early 70s he's in dozens of movies including the pink Panther and um notably uh was marriage and Adley would upon the moment of her demise you said mart but you didn't explain who mart was

mart pala the playwright uh and uh always appreciate his his stories I asked him if he had ever known Ashley Boone Jr.

there was an article about uh him in the Hollywood Reporter because it's black history month and uh apparently someone just remembered that there was briefly uh black men who was also gay who's head of uh studio for a few months

20th century Fox in the in the 70s and uh there was a really fascinating article about him um he passed away

Hollywood Reporter it was an article by Scott Feinberg and uh Ashley Boone Jr. died in 94 uh he was quite young he was 55

um he was in Sydney Pache's production company then he moved to Fox in 72 as uh in charge of uh

marketing and or he wasn't in charge she was working in marketing and distribution at that time let's uh cut to the excitement

Rocky Horror and Star Wars oh yeah he uh made sure that Rocky Horror was introduced as a midnight

screening cult film and that I didn't realize that was part of the marketing strategy from the beginning

in those dates um he took on uh sounder yes that beautiful movie with um Paul um

windfield Paul windfield and sissley Tyson who's also alive at 93 yeah was just on the Vee yesterday

was she really yeah speaking of block history wow sissley Tyson did a movie when we were kids called um the

life and times of Miss Jane pitman of Miss Jane pitman and it was written by Kenan wind son was it

who um he who was a decent writer and she was a living slave was she not in the picture and she

recounted her entire story from being in bondages a kid and everything it's it's a superb piece
