0:58.8

We picked it because we liked it, so what else are we going to say?

1:01.1

That's it. Okay, bye.

1:03.3

Our shortest episode ever.

1:11.1

I actually, it's one of my favorite Daredevil stories that I've read because it not only utilizes Daredevil, of course, but Mysterio,

1:12.6

which I absolutely love.

1:15.7

I don't think he's used enough in the Marvel universe.

1:18.6

I loved him ever since the old 70s cartoon. I agree, because it's a character who has a lot of potential and is always misused and underused,

1:24.6

I should say, and that was like the second time in all the years that he's actually been used as a serious villain type villain. Yeah. He did a good job messing with him. Very much so. Very much so. And this was the first real serious comic that Kevin Smith ever wrote, correct? Yes. At least his first work from a major publisher. Right. Because did he like, the clerk's miniseries or something? Or was that even somebody else who wrote that? I think he did something with that in some fashion. I can't remember if that was before or after this or what. I think it was. I think he had done something with Jay and Silent Bob before on, like, Ony Press or something like that. Right.

2:06.6

Yeah, it was the only double feature starring, yeah, Jay and Silent Bob.

2:10.6

And I actually thought he did write the clerk's mini series.

2:12.0

I was, I'm pretty sure that. I think he might have.

2:12.7

And then this became, you know, when they decided to revamp Daredevil and, and just start, you know,

2:19.2

relaunch him, basically.

2:22.0

Kevin Smith got him to write him because, not Kevin Smith got him to write it.

2:27.3

Joe Cassada got Kevin Smith to write it because Kevin Smith was a big Daredevil fan and wanted

2:32.3

the job.

2:33.8

This was also the, I don't know if it was the first one in the line, but it was one of the first four of Marvel Knights. Right, right. Yeah, I think it was the first one. It was the very first one. Yeah. Yeah, it was the first one. Okay. Last one to be completed. Yes. oh by by the way, this is a completely spoiler-filled episode, so if you haven't read Guardian Devil and you don't want anything ruined for you, stop listening now. The weird thing, too, is like... You should stop listening about 10 minutes. That's right. Before I said about Mysterio. It also, it's kind of hard to talk about this one and not talk about Born Again a little bit.
