All right, I've been teaching through

Ephesians and I haven't gotten very far.

I'm halfway through and this is my last message so we're

going to this message will be five or six hours long. No it won't be. Don't encourage me. I have ministered that long before. But we're now

into chapter four and I'm just going to have to skip through some things and again I hope that this encourages you to go back and study the word for yourself.

Maybe you could just hear some things that says I've never looked at it

that way, I've never thought about it that way and if you'll go back and study these verses

and ask the Holy Spirit to show you, he'll show you anything that he's showing me. He's the teacher.

Amen. So I encourage you to just really study. So I'm going to jump down here. There's some things I want to get to to but the very first part of this fourth chapter

is Paul talking about how that God has given all of us gifts and then he starts talking in verse 11 about the different ministry gifts the

apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher and these are gifts from God to the body of Christ.

Man, that's awesome.

That's awesome to think that God would give gifts unto man and raise up people to minister to us and to help us.

And there are awesome things here.

I hate to skip over that, but I am.

I'm going to skip on down to some other things and but notice this it says in verse 11 that he gave the apostles

prophets of angelists pastors and teacher and here's the purpose he gave them for in verse 12,

for the perfecting of the Saints

for the work of the ministry
