Lucifer's Hammer by Larry Niven and Jerry Pornell. We began this week. This past week for in my book it was page 308 it was the

a chapter title the landlord that's where it all began The Landlord.

That's where it all began.

And I got to say, this was a week where we really got to sink into some chapters that showed you, that showed you how the secondary effects.

I don't know if those you out there, anybody out there who read the stand, remember the chapter inside of Stephen Kings

the stand where it was the secondary rounds and the tertiary rounds of death that that really swept through after the virus got people.

That there was a lot of people who survived afterwards.

There are people who are just, you know, for one reason or another another naturally immune and they stuck around and

they were there when everybody else was was gone. Well this was interesting

because now we're getting

we're getting into just 48 to 36 to 72 hours after hammer fall and we haven't heard from our space crew in this this set of of of chapters which I'm

can't wait until they make a an appearance again or at least we get some closure as to what happened with them.

I have to imagine they survive.

That just sounds like they that sounds like a situation where they're going to survive it just

sounds like it's so much more they gotta but now we're learning about hunger how

quickly it sets in. Now we are really in the thick of people stripping

away all the civility that was commonplace and that was baseline in the old world.

The old world has been washed away.
