Despite the ALA's alarmist language, this increase in so-called bookbans is not about

canceling viewpoints most, or attempts to keep adult explicit material from the reach

and push radical gender ideologies to kids about who they are and about their bodies.

The push to remove books from children's sections and libraries is not the same as
