So I'll start with this one. This is from Elliot Wertheimer, who says, seven years ago,

my aunt, uncle and I went to Universal Studios. After years of being obsessed with Harry Potter,

it was one of the most exciting things my 12-year-old self could think of. There was just one

caveat. I had to

watch a soccer game with my uncle the day before. It was the second leg of the Champions

League quarter-final against Manchester City. As we entered the Spurs bar my

uncle Joel had found on Reddit, I was just trying to get through those two hours,

because the sooner it was over, the sooner would be at Universal. But as Sonny lit up the pitch, sent the bar into Rapture and painted an enormous smile on my face, it suddenly wasn't just about getting through the game. By the time Larente put us a head out of nowhere, I was hooked. When Sterling seemingly won it for them, I vividly remember saying, there's still time, there's still time, which summed up both my new commitment and my lack of football knowledge. Then my uncle started getting texts that the goal had been ruled out for

offside and he began celebrating. The rest of the bar, watching a different television, looked

at him like he was crazy. Soon, of course, we all watched VAR rule the goal out and suddenly

I was celebrating too. A few days later, in the middle of our time at Universal, I asked my uncle when Spurs played next. I was in. I was coys. Since then, I've watched nearly every match, texting my uncle about big moments each time. Last year we got matching Odere estfacere tattoos. This season isn't why we're all fans of Tottenham. But if we're being honest, it was never really about just the football.

We all have relationships that shaped who we are because of Spurs.

That will never change.

Sam Curtis, this is one that he's called Training Ground Pranks. My slightly funny story from Spurs is from when I was about 10. I'm 31 now. My dad was a football journalist and during half term or the school holidays, he'd take me to Tottenham's training ground for the Friday pre-match press conferences. This one time, I was told to wait outside the press room. So I stood there for a while and a few players gave me weird looks, this 10-year-old just hanging around by the press room doors.

Eventually, one of Santini's staff members walked past while on his phone and bumped into Paul Robinson, who was also passing by.

He told Paul that the guy on the phone was late for a meeting with Santini and wanted to speak to him.

Paul took the phone and proceeded to pretend to be Santini, expressing Hughes' disappointment that the man was late, saying how very angry he was, all while putting on what can only be described as a very high-pitched northern-sounding French accent. By that point, a group of players had gathered, all laughing as Paul carried on his Santini impression. eventually he dropped back into his normal accent and said, he's in a press conference, so don't worry, just hurry up.

Lovely stuff. Amazing thing to be exposed to in the training ground.
