is a good day. Today is a good day. After four years of the most divisive and destructive

presidency in modern times, we are today seeing the ushering in of a new era under Joe Biden

and Kamala Harris. The US is moving back toward grown-up science-driven leadership.

It's been quite a journey to get here in just the last few weeks. Since we last talked to you,

there was an armed insurrection storming the seat of the world's most powerful democracy.

But we appear to be coming through this to a new dawn for the United States and for the world.

So, friends, as we begin 21, our first episode, the cusp of a new dawn in the world, I've got to

ask, is the relief as great as the pain was? It's a good question. It's a very good question,

but first, let me just, you know, again, what a relief, but honestly, my predominant feeling

today is a deep sense of gratitude. That is my predominant feeling. In addition to

having this and jumping up in all of this deep sense of gratitude, that the light has come

back to the White House. We have had four years of a blackout in the White House, what I call a
