Hey everyone, what is good? This is

Tremendly, host of Into America. Now I know it's been a

minute since you've heard from me, and a few of you have even

reached out to check in, and that just meant the world to me.

It's wonderful to know how that's a y'all are in the show.

Well I want to pop in to give you a really quick update on the

podcast. Now in case you've missed the announcement that was in the

last episode that we aired over the summer, my team and I have

stepped away from the week to week grind for a while to work

on a really special project for MSNBC and Into America.

I can't share exactly what that is yet, but trust me y'all are going to love it,

and as soon as ready, you'll be the first to know.

But for now, I wanted to share a special bonus episode with you.

Our friends over at the podcast, why is this happening with Chris Hades,

recently held a live podcast taping in Chicago to celebrate the 50th

anniversary of hip-hop, and I had the honor and privilege

of being one of the guests. I got the joint Chris to reflect on this

art form that means so much to me, and talk about some of the themes

that came up on Into America's Street Disciples series earlier this year.

I share the stage with author Imali Perry and rapper Vic Mensa.

It was a whole lot of fun and just an all-around great conversation.
