Doubt is a normal part of our experience as humans.

When something doesn't line up with the facts as we know them, or when something unforeseen,

wrecks carefully laid plans, we might find ourselves wondering if God's promises really

are true.

Many of the stories you'll hear in this episode are from those who face doubt and the fear

that comes from not knowing of what you believe is true, and what happened when they took

those doubts to God.

We'll start with the thought from Pastor Craig Greschel.

You know what I was growing up?

If you had any kind of faith doubts around the Christian community, you often felt like

a lesser Christian, like you were failing in some way, and so I kind of always had the idea

that I had to either deny my doubts or suppress my doubts.

The longer I walked with God, the more I realized that sometimes sincere doubts, they're

not a weakness, they'll actually lead to more intimate faith with God.

I used to think God would be disappointed with me from my doubts, but now when I look

in Scripture, especially in the Old Testament, there's an entire book of the Bible,

about limitations, about lamenting to God.

David cried out and didn't understand why God wasn't doing what he thought God should
