Just, you know, when you have a moment to breathe, my mom always used to say, don't shop when you are hungry because you will buy the wrong things.

And so oftentimes I feel the same way about the news. Don't get into conversations when they're too hot because you'll say the wrong things.

You know, have you never gone shopping when you're hungry?

I only go shopping when I'm hungry.

But then you find that means you've only been buying the wrong things your whole life. You realize that?

Yes. In fact, I've lived with David and he is maybe the worst shopper I've ever come across.
