No, I'm laughing about the fact that I don't really know what a podcast is.

I mean, it's fundamentally, it's radio. It is radio, isn't it? Yes, it's radio at your own time.

Yes, and we can edit out anything that goes horribly wrong.

Yes, and there's no traffic announcements and there's no weather. It's radio without all the good parts.

Okay, cool. That's the well.

So this is a podcast that's really about us getting into the news that isn't happening.

Just, you know, when you have a moment to breathe, my mom always used to say, don't shop when you are hungry because you will buy the wrong things.

And so oftentimes I feel the same way about the news. Don't get into conversations when they're too hot because you'll say the wrong things.

What was she talking about? When she tells you this?

You know, have you never gone shopping when you're hungry?

I only go shopping when I'm hungry.

But then you find that means you've only been buying the wrong things your whole life. You realize that?

Yes. I buy a lot of wrong things. Yes, you do.

Yes. In fact, I've lived with David and he is maybe the worst shopper I've ever come across.
