What is it exactly you've just been doing?

It's hard to explain and I think you're the best person obviously to explain it.

The main project or area that I've been focusing on with Bitcoin is how bad actors could be using it,

specifically in terrorist financing and the reason why that area I think is not necessarily as talked about or as widely covered as other aspects of

cryptocurrencies like the fact that it's you know now has 7,000 of is because cryptocurrencies are still not necessarily the ideal form of money or motive exchange for

bad actors or terrorists and there's a lot of different reasons for that. I mean, you know, despite claims that

cryptocurrencies have anonymity, they don't. They have student anonymity which means that, you know,

there is basically a public ledger, the blockchain, that

documents all transactions to ever occur.

You can basically track every transaction, right?

I always find it weird when people say that, like, oh, it's completely anonymous,

not really, like anyone can look it up. Right, exactly. And the issue with that too is that, you know,

it's not going to say Brenna sending Jake 5 Bitcoin.

It'll have two unique addresses saying that.

But if you're law enforcement or if you have really good tools,

you can discern often who somebody is

that's conducting these transactions.
