King's Dark Tower series. My name is Scott Daly, and I am your host, and I'm joined, well,

by nobody this week, at least in the introduction portion of the show. For those of you that

missed the news last week, I had a baby this week. On Monday morning. My wife and I had a baby boy. We named him

Logan and we are celebrating our new arrival and getting into the routine of life with an infant.

So we decided that this might be a good week for us to take off. So we're not going to have a

new episode of the show as normal for you folks. but I still wanted to release something. I still wanted

to give you something for your Thursday morning fix. Fortunately, a few weeks ago, my cousin DJ

Dadana and I had sat down in front of some microphones and we had talked about the new stand

miniseries over on CBS All Access, what is now called Paramount Plus. We are both avid Stephen King readers and lovers of all

things King, and we both really, really love the stand. So we were very excited for the show. So I got

him on the phone and we talked for an hour or so about the stand. And I had this in my back pocket

and I thought this was a pretty good week for it. So I hope you folks enjoy this little bonus episode,

and we will be back, and we hope you will join us as we return to our regularly scheduled
