The NBA, as we know, has a tanking problem, and the NBA is trying to figure it out, trying to solve it.

Here are three proposals that have been put out there as we go through a different couple of different sources.

Of course, this is Shams that I'm reading from.

Kyle has some also from other publications where we'll see the first proposal that I'll throw at you guys,

according to Shams, 18 teams to prevent the bottom 10 that missed the play-in tournament

and the eight that qualify for it all will be part of a draft lottery.

The bottom 10 teams will all have an equal 8% chance of moving up in the lottery with the

remaining 20% of the odds being split among the eight playing teams in descending order

from 11 through 18.

Has anyone ever thought about anything before, before you propose this?

The first time like a six seed in the playoff ends up with the number one overall pick,

we're all going to freak out because the teams that need the great players aren't getting

the great players and you're just making them more desperate.

It's the thing that drives me crazy about what has happened in the league is what they did

was flatten the lottery odds. The direct next step that happened was more teams tanking.

And the first proposal is let's flatten it even more.

Are you paying any attention to what the problem is, which is the volume of teams that are

tanking because they've been incentivized to do so by the structure that you deliberately put in place.

Anyway, stupid.
