Hi there, my name is Casey Leander, I'm a writer alongside John Stone Street, and today

I'm excited to bring you a special bonus episode of the Breakpoint podcast.

One of the highest callings of believers is to be salt and light.

We need to live out a reconciled relationship with God, knowing how to oppose evil and celebrate

that which is good while loving our neighbor as Christ loved us.

The problem is that too often, many Christians are baptized into a privatized faith.

We love God, we want to go deeper with Him in our private lives, but when it comes to living

out our faith in public, we can often feel stuck.

The answer to that problem for most of us is not going to be a five minute commentary

that changes our worldview.

Instead, it's a better form of discipleship.

That premise is the heartbeat of the Colson Fellows program, a ten month course designed

to help believers engage with difficult questions in the context of relationships.

Today, I want to highlight a special aspect of that course, the Colson Fellows Church

Affiliate Program.

For the beginning, Chuck Colson designed the Colson Fellows to work alongside the local

church, which he believed was God's plan A for Christian witness.

The church affiliate program is a way to get the Colson Fellows in churches, and to tell

us more today I have two different pastors, each of whom are going to share some of their

experience with the Colson Fellows program.
