books that we may have missed, that we may not get to. Now there's time and some of the ones I'm talking

Suspicion my friend Rebecca Shinsky that some of these are going to

fly by when the calendar turns and then 2024 new releases and I'm looking at

catalogs and doing it books and it just it's hard to go back

once for us people in our business and in you and I. Yeah in the time since we recorded our favorites of the year so far, I've read two of the ones that I had missed and I liked both of them a great deal.

I read Age of Vice by Deep De Capore, finally got to it. It was the perfect read for a big plane ride.

No better sign for a travel book. Great. It was great. I really, really enjoyed it. And I finished

Jumpelihiri's Roman stories. Oh, and? L and loved it if it hadn't been like 4 a.m. your time when I

finished it I also would have texted you and been like what was I doing when I

thought I was gonna skip this book like it's Paul Murray and Lahiri you learned just give

them a shot every time when they come to the plate do not assume they're going to strike

out you got to give them a chance as I was was telling a friend, you know, like I almost

sat this one out because the whole thing Lahiri is doing of like writing it in Italian and
