Hello everyone, welcome to Godsplaining.

We've taken up the custom now these weeks when throughout the world so many Catholics are not able to attend mass and we've taken up the custom of praying through the readings and sharing our own insights as a kind of communal Lexio Devina.

So we hope that you enjoy this reflection that we're offering on these readings.

Today we'll be looking through,

talking over the readings from the fifth Sunday of Lent.

So if you have them, you might appreciate reading them

along with us. We'll present the readings and then offer our own insights and have some have some discussion in prayer through throughout the episode today.

So let's begin then in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

Amen.

By your help we beseech you, Lord, our God.

May we walk eagerly in that same charity with which out of love for

the world your son handed himself over to death. Through our Lord Jesus Christ your son who lives and rains with you in the

unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

We'll start then with the first reading which is a reading from the book of the Prophet Ezekiel thus says the Lord God oh my people I will open your graves and have you rise from them and bring

you back to the land of Israel.

Then you shall know that I am the Lord when I open your graves and have you rise from

them, oh my people. I will put my spirit in you that you may live, and I will settle you upon your land. Thus you shall know that I am the Lord. I have promised and I will do it says the Lord the word of the Lord.
