Hello everyone, welcome back to God's Planey.

We're gathering together for a meditation on the readings for the fifth Sunday of Easter.

I am Father Patrick Briscoe and I'm here in Providence and joining me from Washington via the miracle of internet telephony as we're fond of saying.

Our father is Jacob Bertrand Jansick and Gregory Maria Pine.

We are continuing to do these Lexios, you know, as long as there's a great need for them.

Some places are beginning to open up and we hope that you're

returned to the sacraments will be swift and efficient

and delightful and all those things. We will continue for our part to produce these episodes again as long as we think people are taking advantage of them.

It's really a project we wanted to undertake to help people pray in times of Corona during the pandemic while there's a need.

With that, I'll pray the college for the Mass.

Almighty Everliving God constantly accomplished the pastful mystery

within us that those you were pleased to make new and holy baptism may under

your protective care bear much fruit and come to the joys of life eternal.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your son who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, want

God forever and ever.

All right, I'll lead off here with our first reading which is taken from the

Acts of the Apostles. As the number of disciples continued to grow, the Hellenists

complained against the Hebrews because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution.
