Yours truly, Johnny Deller. the Hello and welcome to this week's bonus comedy episode of Down These Mean Streets.

It's hard to believe, but I started these bonus comedy shows one year ago

this week. At the time, they were intended to be a pick-me-up during the month or two we thought we'd all have to stay home and ride out COVID-19.

As that stay-at-home period grew longer and longer, I kept doing these shows. Most of the feedback I heard

from you was positive and personally for me it was an opportunity to dive

into some lighter material at a time when I know I desperately needed some laughs

So here we are one year later and fortunately it looks like we may be nearing the end or at least

getting to a point where we'll be vaccinated against the virus and life can slowly start

to get back to normal. Sometimes it feels like this year has

flown by and other times it feels like we're still in March of 2020.

Wherever you are out there I hope that March of 2021 finds you in a better

spot. I hope that you and your family are safe and on the way to getting your vaccines and I hope that these shows have been a bright spot in your week over the last 12 months.
