Hello everyone and welcome to a split screen special spoiler cast episode for Assassin's Creed Origins.

My name is Kirk Hamilton. I'm editor at large for Kotaku.com. I will be your host today,

along with a couple of guests that I will introduce in a moment.

Assassin's Creed Origins is a game by Ubisoft Montreal. It was released in October of last year for

PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

It tells the story of Bayek of Siwa and his wife Ayah,

two grieving parents who set out on a quest across Egypt

during the time of Cleopatra to avenge their son,

and in the process found the Order of Assassins.

I am joined today to discuss the game by two of my colleagues at Kitaku,

both of whom are

long-standing Assassin's Creed fans for past games in this series. We would have gotten out all of our

thoughts in writing after we finished the games, but this time I talked them into coming on

our podcast instead. Over in New York, we've got Kotaku editor-in-chief, Stephen Totillo. Hi, Stephen.

are in the right place. Also, from way across the Pacific in Canberra, we've got Kataku contributing

big game. So, first of all, this is a spoiler cast, so any listeners who haven't finished Assassin's Creed Origins, and maybe you're thinking about it or don't want to hear story spoilers for this game,

this isn't the podcast for you. This is going to be a spoiler cast. Second, this is a bonus episode.
