In our conversation, me and Jen touched on how Joanna Gamila used field recordings

from the ethno-musicalist Alan Lomax throughout the album.

Alan Lomax has become famous documenting folk music traditions from around the world throughout the 20th century.

Bob Dylan credits him, we've introduced him to folk music, and his samples have been used in huge recordings like the 2016 Banger, Lemonade by Beyonce, and Moby's play.

So in this bonus, I went to explore the significance of Alan Lomax.
