That was Till I Hear It from You by The Jim Blossoms, came out in 1996, and it was, well, it was kind of a weird release because it was the B side of Follow You Down, which was a hit from

their album, Congratulations, I'm Sorry, but it also became a hit in its own right as kind of one of the

big singles from the Empire Records soundtrack, Which is a fantastic movie.

Before we talk about the movie, let me just say, if you've never listened to the podcast
