I'm popping in for a bonus episode because normally we do episodes on Tuesdays,

Friday episode. And so that's what I'm doing today. And it's going to be a solo. It's just me.

So if you listen to the podcast last year, you know that last year we did probably 50 to 60% of the

episodes solo. And on one hand, that was a really fun experience because I feel like you all, as a community around this show, got to know me better. We got to just spend more time one-on-one. And I got so much good feedback about my solo episodes last summer. So that was the good news. The bad news is doing that many solo episodes quite literally almost took me out because solo

episodes are easier logistically because I'm just working with my own schedule, working with one

camera, one mic, that. But it's actually so much harder to sit and talk to myself for an extended

period of time to make a cohesive episode

than it is to be in conversation with somebody else. I don't know if y'all have ever sat and

recorded yourselves talking to yourselves for an hour trying to make sense and make it helpful

and useful and entertaining and all of that. But I learned that it actually takes so much more

out of me to be able to do that.

So we're still going to be doing solo episodes this year, but I'm thinking a cadence of like once a

month is going to be so much more feasible for me. And I actually think that doing it at that

cadence will make the solo episodes better because I realize that I have so much more to talk

about if I live a little life in between each episode.

Because if it's just me sitting down solo every week, there's not enough, I don't have

enough to talk about week to week solo versus if I do it, you know, every month or every
