Hey everybody, it's Christy Blad from Marvel Movie News with some breaking news.

As of right now, Sony and Disney will no longer collaborate on any future Spider-Man movies.

What does this mean? This means no Spidey in the MCU.

So if you liked seeing him interact with the Avengers or even

Happy Hogan, you're not going to see it anymore. As of right now, as far as we know, they're still

negotiating. This could all be a tactic, but it apparently broke down over the fact that

Sony wanted to give Disney 5% of the gross, and Disney kind of wanted 50%.

So they're pretty far apart right now, but there's still going to be Spider-Man movies.

Maybe they just won't tie into the MCU.

And personally, I think that they're going to work it out.

And how does Disney work anything out?

Well, they could always just

buy Sony. I mean, that's been their solution for everything. But realistically, I think as they get

further down the road with the next Spider-Man movie, they're going to realize, like, we need this.

We don't want to have a repeat of the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies that, as much as I liked

them,

didn't have the kind of box office that they wanted.

But we'll have to see.

I mean, they're also developing a Venom 2,

and there's a Morbius movie.

And if they start to feel really full of themselves,

maybe they'll try and go without the MCU.
