In 2007, Stacy Lewis won an individual national championship in women's golf,

which helped the Arkansas program burst onto the scene under head coach

Shauna Taylor.

Since then, it's become one of the most successful programs on the Arkansas campus.

Two of the major reasons why, Gabby Lopez and Maria Fossi.

Though the two golfers hailed from Mexico, Arkansas quickly became a second home for

both. First Lopez, who would win three times in college and become a two-time

All-American.

Gabby Lopez walks in the footsteps of one of the greats of the game. And has since won twice on the LPGa tour and represented her country in the Olympics.

And then FASI, who would help the Razorbacks win their first SEC title in 2018 and then an NCAA

individual title in 2019.

All while becoming the first two-time winner of the Anica Award, the Heisman Trophy in

Women's Golf.
