Hi everyone it's Sarah I'm so excited about this little present that we're dropping into

your feed this week I was a guest on a very cool podcast called Failure to Adapt, which is hosted by children's and

Y A author Maggie Tacuda Hall and comedian Red Scott. And the idea behind this

podcast is so cool.

They take books that have been adapted into film and television shows

and they read the books and then watch the films

or television shows or short series and do an episode about comparing

contrasting talking about what works what doesn't what they love what they didn't and

it's so fun their first season has some very very cool

guests and very very cool books and their second season which is right now is

all Jane Austin all the time so it really worked out well for me because they sent an email

and asked me to guest on the show and they let me choose what I wanted to do and

I was so excited to choose Emma and Clueless.

Emma is my favorite Austin novel, you'll hear more about that in the

podcast and Clueless is I think one of a, gosh, there are a handful of adaptations that are truly perfect and this

one is surely one of them.

Anyway, I'm so excited to share this podcast, which was a really delicious fine for me in

2022 with all of you, and I hope you'll enjoy this special episode of Failure to Adapt featuring me talking about Emma and
