I was the kind of kid who was socially awkward, didn't have a lot of friends. I walked funny. I moved funny. There was something about my persona that made me a target. So every thug,

every hool-um, every badass, every gangster wannabe who wanted to kick

somebody's ass for fun or practice that came to me. I had a big-ass target on my head.

I don't tell stories about anything that I don't feel something about.

It hurts me in my heart, it reminds me of something that gives me a feeling, but if I don't feel something about. It hurts me in my heart,

reminds me of something that gives me a feeling.

But if I don't feel it,

it's not a story that I'd be willing to tell anybody.

When we search for meaning in our lives,

so much of what matters to us

takes the shape of the stories we tell,
