Hey guys, welcome to pardon the message, Cynthia again.

I'm glad you're with us as we're praying through the school year for our kids. And this week, we're praying fearlessness over our kids. And I can tell you just right up front,

that's not one of the things I love to pray over my kids. I don't love fearlessness. In fact,

my youngest one is the most fearless child I've ever been around. Like, not just the most

fearless in my house, but at all. He and COVID broke his arm

twice, twice trying to fly. Don't tell me that doesn't make you nervous. Take him to the doctor

when they're breaking blems all the time. You're like, oh my gosh, what am I doing wrong here?

And then he also likes to climb the outside of the stair banister to the second floor. Like,

you know, instead of going on the inside like normal people would, he's on the

outside.

I'm like, oh my gosh, get down before you fall off of that.

And then in the last week or two, yeah, he has put a magnet all the way up his nose far enough

the school called and said he might need to go to the emergency room.

He also swallowed a marble. If you listen to the Thursday podcast, you've heard some of these stories. And so all of that to say,

he's fearless, that he might be injured, something could happen to him, he might choke, just does

not register. And so as we think of praying fearlessness over our kids, obviously that's

an example of a young child. And we're talking out being biblically fearless. But I think for all

of us as our kids get older, like it's hard to pray fearlessness over them because we want them kind of

to stay in that safe zone, to be neutral, to kind of fit in, be in the middle of things, right? Like,

ultimately that's kind of what we want for our kids, if we're honest. Whereas the Bible's calling us all, our kids included,
