All right, it is less than 24 hours since the news broke of the shooter at the

Navy Yard in Washington, D.C.

Time for us to have a little discussion.

Now, understand, this is one point in time okay so what we

know now will be superseded we will know more in fact by the time you hear this

we will know more.

Some of the things that we think we know now

will prove to be inaccurate later on.

And that certainly has been proven true

with the statements by news reporters throughout the day yesterday

as they were reporting on this, getting most things wrong, but certainly being on the air non-stop and covering everything.

First is of course better than accurate for a lot of that.

All right, let's return to this though because there are points that we should address. First of all, one of the things

I'm noticing today in the news coverage in the media is that in the first paragraph there's no mention of semi-automatic firearms,

semi-automatic assault weapons, blah, blah, blah. Well, they don't know exactly what happened,

which guns he had, at least at this point.

It may be that he was using a shotgun.

Now, these people, these victims are no less dead.

They're no less shot.

But for the media somehow it's part of the story if people are shot with one type

of gun to mention that gun and it's not part of the story, if those people are shot with a different kind of gun.

If ever there was a chance to really expose and openly see the bias of the media, this is it.
