Cabello's a pretty good deal. In Oregon the universities have banned guns on

campus and they have for 20 years And in fact a young man Jeff Maxwell was expelled, kicked out of

the university in Oregon for having a gun there.

Well, the problem is it's not illegal.

Because in Oregon, they have a preemption law,

and there's nothing in the law that says that universities get to set their own gun laws.

Of course, a preemption law simply means that only the state can pass gun laws.

So this was challenged in court, and's see the challenge to the rule of the Oregon

University System. It was brought by the Oregon Firearms Education Foundation and the court has overturned the ban.

The court said, look, universities, legislature spoke, it said that only the state can have gun control laws. You are not the state, so

you cannot have gun control laws. Now, there is a provision where a student, a correction, a teacher was let go because she had a gun on campus and they said well that's a different deal.

That is a violation of an employment agreement, an employment contract.
