Now, this one's a little bit different. You will hear pretty quickly that the fellow I had on the phone

for this interview had a really crummy telephone. So it doesn't sound great. So as a result,

we're not going to put it on the radio. So I'm going to

put it out as a podcast. And I think if you will stay with it, you will get some value out of it.

But yeah, it's a crummy telephone and the sound isn't that great. What we're talking about

is traveling on the airlines with guns and using good padlocks. Because the deal is when you travel on the airlines with guns and using good padlocks because the deal is when you

travel on the airlines with a gun, you don't use TSA locks. And I don't use regular padlocks

because I've actually had TSA cut the locks off of my case. So now I use padlocks that

it's going to make it a lot more difficult. Nothing's impossible, but it's going to make it a lot more difficult. Nothing's

that's why I invited somebody here from security snobs, which is a website where I have bought

some padlocks before. So here is that interview. I've often talked about traveling with guns.

It's one of the questions we get an awful lot. And I've mentioned that when you fly on commercial

airlines, when you have a firearm with you, there are certain requirements that you have to do.

And one of them is that TSA is actually not allowed to. They're prohibited from having the keys so they can get

into your case. And at that point, I say, look, if you're going to do that, make sure you have good

locks. So joining us right now is Tom Temmel from security snobs. Now, Tom, you obviously sell

really good padlocks. And I'm a customer. I bought locks from you, but you told me that

you actually use this system when you're traveling. Yeah, that's correct. Frequently I travel with

expensive items, and unfortunately, they generally end up being pretty heavy and sometimes somewhat

large. So I like to be able to check my bag, but obviously don't want people going through it and messing with it.
