I'm Tom Gresham.

This one is a little personal, a little bit different,

just some thoughts on things that happen today.

First of all, let me explain.

We talk about the Gun Talk Truth Squad a lot. Truth Squad are people like you who

have volunteered to, well, take no prisoners, to have a no shrug attitude, to speak up, to say something

when something is wrong, volunteers, if you will. Well, the whole idea came from the phrase which I like, which is

a lie left unchallenged becomes the truth.

And that's because that's the only voice or the only opinion that's out there.

If you have a contrary view to it, then people discuss it and debate it.

But if it just sits out there and nobody challenges it, people say, well, that must be true.

So when you see something in the news or in the media that's misinformation, it's just flat wrong,

comments about guns, gun owners, gun ownership, gun rights, if you don't challenge it, it sits there and becomes the truth.

So that was that idea.

And then we said, okay, we'll form the truth squad.
