Recently I received a call from a woman named Monica and she was a voice

I've said this before so if you think you're listening to a podcast you already heard no I'm introducing the same person again just a different podcast

She represented a voice that I believe is a very common voice in America, but you don't see it on TV.

And that is a woman who is a wife and a mother.

And those two things drive who she is.

Now, does that make her less than a woman who goes to work every day in a corporate job?

Absolutely not.

In fact, she had a high-powered corporate job

and like my wife

she chose to step out of that

and focus on the family exclusively.

That's not a judgment if you are still in their workplace,

but I'm tired of women being judged who choose to leave the workplace

as if they're lazy or dumb-dums or irrelevant or not putting

their talents to use, because they are. I was raised by a stay-at-home mother.

It took a huge toll on our family.

It would have been much better financially if she went to work.

But she stayed home and raised us. And it made a world of difference for me.

Every family should get to make that decision for themselves.

But I'm tired of people dismissing or insulting women who choose to stay home and their idea on what good policies they want for this country or what is good for their children and their
