We're going to see how this thing works.

As I'm looking at the news coverage of the tornadoes that ripped up the south and in particular Alabama, I am struck

by the need to get serious about having a plan. And I wanted to just talk for a second about that.

Yeah, I know, it's gun talk, and we talk about guns, but at its core,

we talk about safety and security. And while a gun may be part of your plan, it's not the total

plan, nor should it be. You can't depend upon your gun to be your total plan. Let's talk about

the idea of emergencies, and you've heard me talk about having a bugout bag or a go bag or a ready bag.

And I've said, you know, you don't know.

I mean, if it's a hurricane, you have warning.

And people say, well, I don't live in an area where they have hurricanes or tornadoes or whatever.

Yeah, I know.

But they do have railroad cars, and they overturn, and the cloud of poisonous gas starts heading towards you,

and you are given 30 seconds to evacuate.

You've got to get out.

Here it comes.

Not much different from a tornado roaring down upon you. Do you have a plan? Do you have what you need? Let's talk about that for just a second. I'm thinking about if you are in tornado country, which is a large part of the country, and you have a safe room. That's where your go bag needs to be. And what do you need in

your go bag? Well, imagine that you are in Tuscaloosa or Birmingham. You hear the sirens,

you hear the freight train, and you grab whatever you can grab and your people or your family, your children,

and you run for the safe room and you get in there.
