I had talked with Eric a while back about his book Bonhoeffer, which is so good, and it was

the number one bestseller on the New York Times list.

This is also a bestseller on the list.

have you ever seen a miracle yourself? Yes.

What was it?

I have had, in the book, just to give the background, I relate about 30 or so miracle stories.

About three of them are things that happened to me, two or three.

But I have personally had, I would say about 10 out-and-out miracles, most of which could have been put in the book.

We just didn't have the room.

But I have experienced things that are not, I don't even say it's a mystery.

It is clear to me, clear as a bell, that it's a miracle, that God is alive and he wants to speak to us and do stuff, how he does it, when he does it, that's the mystery. But whether I would,

you know, play an intellectual game and say, oh, I don't know what happened. I know what happened.

I might not like it. I might like it. That's another story. But what happened, I know. I don't, you know, I'm not the kind of person that uses the word miracle lightly.

I read Bonhoeffer, and I respect what you do a lot. And I wouldn't have put you in the camp. If people are new to Eric McTaxos, you're not talking about somebody who's given to just throwing away skepticism.
