I was thinking about wing shooting and shotgunning, and Ryan and I went out last Saturday, did some quail hunting, and had a couple of things

happened that were reminders. It wasn't that I discovered something, it was that I was reminded of things that I knew.

One was that I was shooting I just grabbed a 870 rumington 870 pump in 28

gauge because I really wanted to shoot the 28 gauge and this is a straight out of the

box gun took it out and simply did not shoot very well.

Now, as you may know, I shoot left-handed on long guns.

Handguns I shoot right-handed.

That's because I have a strong left dominant eye, but I'm very right-handed.

But fortunately, my dad switched me over to the left side when I was very young,

because he saw me trying to use my left eye to shoot with BB guns and such.

So I shoot left-handed and a straight stock doesn't fit me.

And even worse than that, a lot of the guns guns especially over and under is now are made with a little

bit of cast that is the stock is bent to favor right-handed shooters where you can imagine what that does to you
