Now, there's a lot of news breaking right now all over the country with various states

examining the question of allowing or stopping the prohibition on concealed carry on college campuses.

Currently, it's illegal in most states, even if you have a permit for concealed carry to carry your gun on a college campus.

That's not true in some states, Utah and Oregon, to be specific. Don't prohibit you from carrying your handgun onto college campuses. And now we are seeing proposals in Florida and Texas and a number of other states of removing this prohibition.

Now, there are millions of people who have concealed carry permits, and almost without exception, there are no problems with them.

These are honest, law-abiding, good people who are safe and responsible with their guns.

Here's where it breaks down, and here's where you can make a difference,

because the discussion always goes in the wrong direction.

When you talk about stopping their prohibition of concealed carry on college campuses,

as soon as people start talking about conceal carry on college campuses,

they start talking about students.

That's not what it's about.

One thing to go ahead and talk about right off the bat.

Concealed carry on campus is not about students.

Concealed carry on campus is about adults who have carry permits

being able to carry their guns on state lands.

Everybody just jumps in and says this is about students carry.

No, it's about me and you and your wife and your father or your grandfather or

whomever has a carry permit.

Being able to carry on this patch of ground that is owned

by the state and not being prohibited just because this is a place of learning. So first of all,
