Hi, this is Tom Gresham. We're to give you a podcast as we head into Turkey Day.

It's the week of Thanksgiving. And just yesterday, as I'm speaking, we had the full Gun Talk radio show on Sunday and our

lead guest was Steve Nardizi from the Wounded Warriors, and if you follow this at all over the last week,

has been an awful lot of hubbub or dust up or however you want to put it, with the Wounded

Warriors Project saying they wouldn't come on Gun talk because they don't do appearances with things that relate to guns and they won't co-brand, they call it, with anything that has to with guns.

Well, they took a lot of flack for that.

A lot of people, I mean a lot of people saw that and said,

well, then you're not going to get my money because I'm a gun owner, I'm a hunter, I'm a shooter,

and if you specifically... because I'm a gun owner, I'm a hunter, I'm a shooter.

And if you specifically call us out and say,

look, this is a group that we will not co-brand with.

We will not allow you to use our logo.

We will not appear with. Well, you don't think we're worthy,

then you're not going to get my money. Well, that had an effect. Clearly it had an effect on the

Wounded Warrior Project, and so they said they would come on the show or they wouldn't the week before and they

sent their CEO Steve Nardizi.

So yesterday he's the CEO Steve Nardizi came on the show, and he wanted to say, look, we made some mistakes,

that was our PR director, was misinformed, and so she said some things that were not correct and we certainly sponsor

hunts and shoots and we take donations from gun companies and I said yeah I know all that that's why it's so confusing

So I wanted to kind of go over this again because I'm digesting what he said

I want to go through a little bit of that. So Nardizi says, well, we take money from gun companies. I said, yes, I know you do. And people have shoots and raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project and they do hunts and raise money, all these fundraisers.

So you're happy to take the money.
