All right, we're in the middle of the holidays. Almost Christmas in the middle of Hanukkah, happy

holidays to all of you and certainly a Merry Christmas. Now, a lot of people are going to be

getting guns for Christmas, so let's talk about

a second, talk about what goes with that. But first, I am really angry. I really

am disgusted, depressed, and angry over a story that broke.

And it takes me to the point I want to make about, guns for Christmas, and really about

just safety with guns. I don't know if you saw this story. It's horrendous. Fredericksburg Ohio. If this story holds the way

it's being reported right now a man supposedly was cleaning of muzzle loading rifle.

In the process, I can't tell if he accidentally

negligently fired the gun, or if he just was kind of out in the middle of nowhere

and just shot this mose

loader up in the air to clear it. It sounds as though maybe that's what

happened and maybe not straight up in the air, maybe at an angle, I don't know.

And you say well you, what are the odds?

Well, in this case, the odds went against everybody.

And it appears that the bullet fired hit a 15-year-old Amish girl driving a horse-drawn buggy more than a mile away.

Shot in the head and died.

It is so upsetting and so distressing to think about this. And I want to use it as a chance for all of us to

take another good hard look at the way that we conduct ourselves as far as safety around our guns when we're

handling guns.

You know, it's still, what are the odds?
