Well, hello, I'm Jeff Lewis. I am Director of Discipleship at Radical.

And I'm joined today with David Platt,

who is pastor of McLean Bible Church

and also founder and president of Radical.

And really what is driving this opportunity of dialogue with each other is about

a month ago I was really concerned with what would be the end of this quarantine and how would the church

respond and how would pastors lead their churches to respond as it relate to possible budget

shortfall, challenges that they're going to have as they restart and recalibrate and figure out what they're going to be doing.

But how do we keep this mission of God that we're given almost 2,000 years ago front and

central to who we are as churches and his followers of Christ and nation?

So David, I want to thank you for taking time to be, to really participate

in this video.

A no-brainer, like this, what you just said I certainly want to be true in my own life and

the extent of which we can together encourage others not just together you and me, but as leaders and

pastors and churches all over the world, present, yeah, not getting our highest focused of why we're here on the planet, particularly in the middle of the pandemic.

So yes, let's do this.

Yeah, yeah.

Well, it's intriguing. We were with each other mid-March when this was all kind of coming down and all of a sudden

you haven't met as a church since middle of March like everybody else has. So, you know, just along with your

brothers who are pasturing around the world, what are some of the positives

outcomes? We always kind of go to the negatives. Have you seen any positive things that you've experienced during this quarantine?
