Today I want to talk about what's been a wild few days in the betting market for the NFL

MVP odds.

Now the big change here in the odds has been the news that Jalen Hertz has a sprained shoulder.

It's expected to keep him out against the game against Dallas this upcoming Saturday and

then potentially with the outcome of that game he might not play again all year.

The Eagles play the Saints the following week but if they win on Saturday and Dallas they

clinched the one seed, they clinched the division and they'd have nothing else to play

for the rest of the year.

News of his injury, it was a wild few hours on the betting market.

Hertz woke up Monday morning as the betting favorite to win the MVP and then following

some kind of speculation and then you know the betting market change and things started to

kind of snowball he went from around minus 250 minus 200 to win it to being plus 700 at

one point.
