Hello and welcome to Little Gold Women, a special two-part series made in collaboration with

Netflix. I'm Latoya Ferguson.

And I'm Aunt Faraguto.

And in this miniseries, we're going to be talking

about two Netflix series and the fascinating female characters

that define them.

First up is Ozark, the crime drama series that wrapped up its third season this year.

This was the season that so many of the female characters stepped up to their families in a big way.

And later on in this episode, and she'll be talking to two of the series biggest

stars about that. That's right. I talked to Laura Linni, who plays Wendy Bird, and Julia Garner, who plays

Ruth Langmore, and who actually won an Emmy for that role last year.

This year, they're both nominated, and you can really see why.

I think season three is really a showcase of how far these two are willing to kind of push their limits

and really reckoning with the impact they have on the people around them and the people they care about.

Plus we get some new fun insults from Ruth,

which I always appreciate.

Yes, and of course, Ruth throwing a man overboard,

which is beautiful.
